We had many challenges with the build from weather delays, to contractors not showing up, and supply shortages. We loved being able to be onsite every day there was progress and getting to see it be built. We could easily resolve any issues that came up and keep moving forward. 

Here was my inspiration board for the exterior of the house. We chose Sherwin Williams exterior paint in the color Fundamental white. This color can be mixed at Sherwin Williams or at Lowe’s since it is an HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams exclusive color. More as to why I love this white color and why I chose it over all the others in another post.

The stone was the hard part. I am very picky when it came to the color and look of the stone. I wanted a stone that looked and felt natural, had complementing colors, and was not the everyday brown and orange stone. I was lucky enough to stumble across the perfect stone while attending the Atlanta Home Show. The brand is Eldorado Stone in the color Boardwalk. Don’t let the website pictures fool you. The colors of this stone show grey, cream, white, chocolate, charcoal, and sand. I called tons of stone companies and finally found the best price with Power Brick They not only had the best price but also had great customer service and had it delivered sooner than anyone.
